ABOUT ME!
Tempestt Perrin is a Musical Theatre Performer born and raised in Houston, Texas. Tempestt began dancing in 3rd grade and is a proud product of various church and after-school performing arts programs.
Tempestt continued to train and perform throughout middle school and high school. By 8th grade, she received a full scholarship to City Dance Studio studying Ballet and Jazz under Artistic Director, Sherese Campbell. While attending Bellaire High School, Tempestt became a member of eMotion Dance Company and served as Dance Captain and Vice-President. She trained in Hip-Hop and Modern technique while honing her skills as a choreographer. She found her passion for Musical Theatre while participating in her school's production of Smokey Joe's Cafe.
As a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University, she trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, and Jazz technique. She was fortunate to train and work with different resident choreographers and master classes during her studies. Such as Dominic Walsh (Dominic Walsh Dance Theatre), Jane Weiner (Hope Stone Dance Company), Khaleah London, Greg Graham (Billy Elliot-Broadway), Ben Stevenson (Houston Ballet) and more.
She is a recipient of many dance studio scholarships, including Debbie Allen's Dance Summer Intensive scholarship. She has studied with Joffrey Ballet's Jazz and Contemporary programs in LA and NY, Verdon/Fosse Legacy, Peridance Studios, and Broadway Dance Center.
While living in NYC, she has had the privilege of performing, under the leadership of tap renowned Dormeshia, with The Sophisticated Ladies at The World Famous Cotton Club for the past 4 years. She has had a hair modeling partnership with Luster's Pink Inc. as their "New Face of Pink". Model for fashion designer, Stella McCartney. She is an active Musical Theatre Performer for theaters around the US.
